SDS' Working at Heights Refresher training program is designed to provide workers who have already completed a CPO-approved working at heights course with the reinforcement of key learning outcomes designed to protect workers from the risk of falls when working at elevated heights. The refresher training will also update learners on any legislative, regulatory, or equipment (technological) changes which may impact working at heights in construction. The program will consist of a theory and practical component. Participants who successfully complete this program will receive a wall certificate and a wallet card. Ministry of Labour will issue a "Proof of Completion Card" to successful participants that is mailed to the contact address provided.
Only learners who have successfully completed any CPO-approved working at heights training program delivered by a CPO-approved working at heights training provider are eligible to take refresher training and receive a new proof of completion card. Learners can present their CPO-issued proof of completion card or proof of completion given to them by the provider of their original WAH training. Having this training updated is required for access to construction and industrial projects by all workers.
